HISTORY FOR SALE!

This charming historical cottage was one of 100 built in Pompano Beach, Florida, during the Great Depression to create jobs, house Depression-era workers and promote tourism by luring vacationers. Only 10 of the original cottages exist today. In 1962, four of the cottages were floated by barge to Key Largo in the Florida Keys. Two of the cottages were set on foundations on Jewfish Avenue at mile marker 103 on the oceanside and modernizations and modifications were added over the years. This one is for sale today for $179,000. Boasting 2 bedrooms & 1 bath, this piece of history also includes a sun room and storage shed and is located in a neighborhood with homeowners’ park featuring a boat ramp and sandy beach.
